• A live ball-and-strike count in the score box, with pitch count tracked separately.

Fixed

• You can now delete a team — swipe left on it in the Teams tab.
• The extra-innings automatic runner is scored correctly as an extra-innings runner.
• Freehand ink is saved as you draw, so strokes are no longer lost if the app closes mid-game.
• The ad-consent prompt now runs reliably when the app launches.

Improved

• The extra-innings control stays pinned to the grid header where you can always reach it.
• A tidier grid header — runs, hits, and errors on one line, leaving more room for the scorecard.

Version 1.2

Released September 2026.

New

• Roster management — tap a player to edit them. Set a roster status (Available, Injured List, Day-to-Day, and the other standard designations) for anyone who's on the roster but can't play a given game, and change a player's position. Only Available players are offered by default when you build a lineup or make a substitution; the rest are one tap away.
• A substitute can enter at a different fielding position than the player they replace — it no longer has to match. The position shows in the substitution history and can be changed later.
• Double switches and defensive shuffles — after bringing in a substitute at a new position, move the displaced fielder in Realign Defense. A fielder who has been moved off their spot but not yet reassigned shows a dash instead of a stale position.
• Lost-DH support — send a designated hitter onto the field from Realign Defense, then record the pitcher (or a bench batter) entering the batting order in the vacated slot. Field Positions and the box score note "DH forfeited", and the batting pitcher shows as "P".

Fixed

• Exporting a PDF no longer crashes when a batting slot took two substitutions in the same inning (a pinch-hitter followed by a same-inning defensive replacement).
• Substitutions recorded in the same inning now resolve in a consistent order every time — on the field diagram, the box score, and the exported PDF.
• Free-tier banner ads now display. The ad container had a sizing-and-setup bug that left the banner space blank on every screen.
