Privacy Policy

Boxscore9 is a scorekeeping app. It does not require or offer account creation, and it does not collect, store, or transmit any of your scorecard, team, or player data outside of your device. All game data you enter — lineups, at-bats, scores — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and is never sent to us or to any third party.

Advertising in the free tier

Boxscore9 is free to download, with an optional one-time in-app purchase ("Pro") that removes ads. In the free tier, Boxscore9 shows ads served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising network. To serve and measure these ads, AdMob collects your device's advertising identifier (Device ID). This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any other personal identity by Boxscore9, and its sole purpose is third-party advertising.

You will be asked for your choice via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt the first time you open the app. If you decline, you'll still see ads, but they won't be personalized. You can change your choice at any time in your device's Settings app under Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Purchases

The one-time Pro unlock is processed entirely by Apple's StoreKit. Boxscore9 never sees or stores your payment details.

Data we do not collect

Boxscore9 does not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, or any user-generated content beyond what you enter into your own local scorecards. There are no accounts, no analytics SDKs, and no networking beyond the advertising described above.

Children's privacy

Boxscore9 is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
